What Charity Means to Me…

Charity is the natural expression of who we are as a people. It’s about fostering a community where support for one another is a part of the culture.

Things like:

[icon_list style=”font-size:18px;”] [icon_list_item style=”color: green;” type=”check”]Giving for the joy of giving, knowing we are all human beings sharing this planet.[/icon_list_item] [icon_list_item style=”color: green;” type=”check”]Finding and exploring ways to support each other with what we have.[/icon_list_item] [/icon_list]

For me, that’s what it’s all about. And just one way I am giving back, is by supporting a cause called FareShare – a cause that provides free, tasty and nutritious meals to Victoria’s hungry, using donated foods not needed by supermarkets, farmers and markets.

We aim to cook 1 million meals a year from our new kitchen!
